We are happy to announce a launch of our new resource for Secondary Schools: the Ethics of Climate Change Toolkit. This toolkit aims to discuss moral problems related to climate change using critical, collaborative and creative thinking. (Click image on right to access the new resource)

The resource links to our Travel theme and Global Citizenship Travel theme, but it is relevant to all our Global Citizenship themes and SDG 13 – Climate Action. The toolkit also directly links to secondary schools’ curriculum, especially geography but also falls into the Moral Philosophy strand in the Junior Cycle Philosophy Short Course.

The toolkit introduces a simple to follow method for running a session in form of an enquiry, techniques and tips, as well as five comprehensive scripts that touch on different ethical aspect of climate change.

Workshop Launch

Green-Schools will officially launch the new resource on Tuesday, April 27 from 5pm to 6pm in the form of an interactive online workshop for teachers. During the workshop, you will have an opportunity to take part in a sample session, learn more about how to use the resource and ask questions. Climate Ambassador programme representatives will also give a short informative talk about their resources that complement the newly launched resource.
