Safe Routes to School Programme (SRTS)

SRTS Officer (Infrastructure)

An Taisce EEU is now recruiting one full time Safe Routes to School Officer (Infrastructure) to be based in the following areas; Wexford, Waterford or Kilkenny. The post will be full-time for a period of up to two years until January 2024. There will be a probationary period of 3 months. The post will be 32.75 hours per week but a degree of flexibility of working hours around evenings and weekends will be expected. This role is for a homeworker/remote worker who will be required to travel for meetings, audits, training, events etc.

Climate Action Programme (CAP)

Regional Climate Action Officer (Galway/West Region)

The EEU of An Taisce is the national operator of a number of highly successful environmental education and management programmes such as Green-Schools, Blue Flag, National Spring Clean, Clean Coasts. The National Climate Change Action and Awareness programme has been operated by the EEU since 2017 and delivers climate literacy, action and engagement initiatives through the Climate Ambassador, Green-Schools, Green-Campus and YRE programmes. The programme is funded by the Department of Environment, Communications and Climate.

An Taisce is now recruiting 1 Full Time Regional Climate Action Officer to be located in the Galway/West Region.  The post will be full-time for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension subject to funding. The post will be full-time Monday to Friday  but a degree of flexibility of working hours around evenings and weekends will be expected.
