Scoot to School Week 2025

Scoot to School Week is taking place from Monday 9th – Friday 13th June and is a celebration of scooting as a fun and sustainable way to travel!
We are asking schools to choose ONE day that week to hold a Scoot TO School Day (SOW). If scooting on the journey to and from school is tricky, why not hold a Scoot AT School Day (SAS).

Our Scooter Obstacle Course Challenge pack contains everything you need to organise some on-yard scooting fun! Your Green-Schools Committee will have a ball organising this!

We also have a lovely classroom activity; the story of Scotty the Scooting Snail. This can be displayed on a whiteboard and highlights the benefits of scooting and touches upon themes of bravery, friendship and independence.

Please collect the numbers of students able to scoot to school OR scoot at school on your chosen day using this survey sheet below.

And upload your numbers here for a chance to win some amazing Micro-Scooter prizes for your school! Enter by Friday, 20th June so prizes can be awarded before the summer break.

To help you promote your event we have downloadable posters available in English and Irish.
