There are lots of ways to get involved with the Marine theme this year. Throughout the year we will have events, campaigns and competitions which schools working on the Marine flag will be invited to participate in. These opportunities will be advertised by email to eligible schools, as well as on this page, and in our Green-Schools newsletter. If you have any questions about the Marine theme, drop us an email at marine@greenschoolsireland.org
Marine Week
Every Spring, Green-Schools hosts “Marine Week” – a week of online events to celebrate our oceans. Throughout this week we will release brand new teaching resources, videos and activities on our Marine Week webpage, host live webinars for primary schools featuring a variety of marine experts, give away marine-themed prizes, and lots more. This year, Marine Week will take place from Monday 31st March – Friday 4th April 2025 – so mark your calendars now!
