Global Goal 4 Quality Education

BiblioBurro

Global Goal 4 is explored in our Global Goals Book Club through the book ‘Biblioburro’ by Jeanette Winter. This heartwarming story follows Luis Soriano, a teacher in Colombia who brings books to children in remote villages using his two donkeys, Alfa and Beto. Through Luis’s dedication, children learn about the power of education and the importance of making learning accessible to everyone, regardless of their location. By engaging with ‘Biblioburro’, young readers are inspired to appreciate the value of education and recognise the efforts needed to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and grow. This aligns with our mission to promote quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
