Our first Energy Schools of the Year!

Green-Schools Energy School of the Year Awards

This year saw our very first Green Schools Energy school of the year awards. We came together in Portlaoise to celebrate students, teachers, parents and caretakers, who have empowered a positive change and recharged our awareness and knowledge of one of our most integral Green- Schools topics Energy. The event honoured those schools who showed exceptional hard work on the Energy theme. From reducing Energy consumption and raising Energy awareness in schools and at home, to learning all about Energy and its impact on the world. Based on schools applications and renewal visits- 10 schools where invited to our awards. Each school represented the best their regions had to offer.
