Táimid ar bís to announce a new festival for our Green-Schools ‘Scéalta na hIthreach’! A placenames festival where schools will explore local placenames that connect with their theme and with the natural world! We start the festival off  with an informative seminar with an expert from logainm.ie. This is not one to be missed!

We will have the exciting guest speaker post-doctoral researcher Diarmaid Ó Maoileoin from logainm.ie, where he will discuss the incredible body of research we have in the national placenames archive, logainm.ie. He will speak about some of the most interesting facts with relation to Irelands placenames, the people who lived here centuries ago and the Irish environment throughout the ages.
