Green-Schools Water team, Ruth and Caoimhe, were delighted to attend the Irish Sponsorship Awards last Thursday 22nd September, at Clontarf Castle Hotel, alongside representatives from Irish Water.
Irish Water was shortlisted for a sponsorship award under the “Best Grass Roots Sponsorship” category, for their support of the Green-Schools Water theme. Green-Schools have partnered with Irish Water for ten years, and over that time the Water theme has gone from strength to strength, with the development of the prestigious Water Ambassador programme, the provision of regional Water Workshops, annual World Water Day celebrations, the ever-popular Water Poster Competition and more!
Shortlisted alongside tough competition from AVIVA Safe to Dream Team, Energia AIL, and SuperValu Tidy Towns & Save the Bees, Green-Schools are thrilled that the Water theme was selected as the winner, and that Irish Water were recognised for the invaluable support they provide to the Water theme, which makes the theme’s exciting initiatives possible!
