Green-Schools & Clean Coasts Ocean Action + Appreciation Workshop

Green-Schools Marine were delighted to celebrate Climate Action Week with an Ocean Action + Appreciation Workshop on Bull Island, Co. Dublin.

Thirty-two students from local secondary schools took part in the workshop, which was organised in collaboration with Clean Coasts. The day kicked off with a visit to Bull Island Interpretive Centre, where students received an introduction to the formation and conservation of Bull Island, from Pat Corrigan, Manager of North Bull Island Nature Reserve. The group then strolled down to Dollymount Strand where they took part in seashore ecology, bird-watching, nature photography, mindfulness in nature activities and of course, a beach clean! A fantastic day was had by all, enjoying the fresh air and taking action on marine litter.
