Green-Schools Annual Report 2024-25

In September, we published our Green-Schools Annual report to showcase all of the great work going on around Green-Schools. We are delighted to share that with you now.

This past year has been full of energy, creativity, and teamwork as schools across the country continued to lead the way on sustainability. From cutting down on waste and saving energy to protecting biodiversity and finding greener ways to get to school, students and teachers have shown just how powerful small actions can be.

The Green-Schools Programme is about more than what happens in the classroom—it’s about building a mindset for a sustainable future. It connects schools, families, local communities, and national partners, showing what’s possible when we all work together.

As we look back on the 2024–2025 school year, we’re celebrating every effort that made a difference—big or small. A huge thank-you to all the students, coordinators, teachers, SNAs, principals, caretakers, cleaners, and partners whose passion keeps this movement growing. Together, we’re shaping a greener, brighter future for everyone.
