TLDR: Global Goals Bookless Club

Welcome to our third edition of TLDR: Global Goals Bookless Club for secondary students!

We invite you to engage with the Sustainable Development Goals through art.
We are delighted to launch our second edition around the theme SDG 2: Zero Hunger and have an amazing 1250 worth of prizes and lots of sharing opportunities to offer.

Our team are hoping to promote creativity around the goals as much as possible and as such we encourage students to enter using their chosen artistic medium. Written word, painting, sculpture, music, film, dance, photography, multimedia or whatever you think gets your point across best!

The prizes will be distributed across the following categories with a junior and senior winner in both. Prizes will be in the form of One 4 All vouchers.

(1) Most Creative

(2) Best Message

(3) Most Innovative Medium

(4) Best Group Submission

(5) Most Engaging

(Here we would like to see examples of your artwork being shared in the school community )

We know life in school is busy so we are keeping the theme broad around SDG 2 and have provided a number of bitesize inspiration pieces below. You can engage with as few or as many as you like and hopefully, they help to inspire and inform your artistic response.

When you are ready to send your entry, please send the following to globalcitizenship@eeu.antaisce.org before COB on Friday the 14th of November.

  1. Your Name
  1. Your School
  1. What Year You Are In
  1. A Short Description Of Your Piece (100 Word Max)
  1. Your Artwork

This idea has been co-created with a number of secondary school students and teachers to provide a platform for students to collaborate, learn and express their thoughts on the Global Goals through art. We are excited to see what you come up with and if you have any questions or queries please feel free to get in touch with us at globalcitizenship@eeu.antaisce.org

The theme of SDG 2: Zero Hunger is strongly linked to the theme of this year’s Young Reporters for the Environment competition: Food Security & Climate Change. If you would like the opportunity to further engage with this topic through a journalistic lens you can find more information here and join the Menu for Change webinar on October 16th World Food Day here
