In November, we will be running a series of 20 minute webinars on some of the connections between food and nature. These short but sweet webinars will give students a quick introduction and some fun facts on each topic. Kicking off with: 

 

Food Miles- How far does our lunch travel?

Discover how far many of the foods we eat come from and how this can impact on nature. Bring along a few food wrappers/packaging to take part in an interactive food miles map!  

 

 

Insects for Dinner!  
11.30am on Tuesday, November 18th  

Would you like to try a beetle burger? Would you eat a cake made from cricket flour? Join us to hear about some of ways the insects may be eaten in the future and how this can impact the planet!
