YRE: The Power of Journalism

Calling all secondary school photographers!

YRE are delighted to be joined by Mark Condron , award winning photojournalist. Mark is a press photographer for almost two decades and has won the Irish Press Photographer of the Year award five times and also an European policing photography award. He currently works for Ireland’s largest selling newspaper, the Irish Independent. His work has taken him all over the world, from covering famines in Ethiopia and South Sudan, the aftermath of earthquakes in Haiti and Nepal, and war zones in Syria, Gaza Strip, and Western Sahara. We’ll also be joined by Yuming Ling from Belvedere College who came 1st place last year!

The deadline for all YRE articles, videos and photo submissions is March 27th for national and international exposure with an overall prize fund of €2,000.
