Daily Swaps Challenge 

What? 

A week-long challenge where your Green-Schools Committee will organise and promote a school-wide campaign to make small daily swaps help save water and energy. Schools across Ireland will compete to see who can get the most people to make daily swaps and yes—there will be exciting prizes (including € for your team)!  

Why? 

Water and energy power our daily lives—from food and clothes to heat and electricity. Wasting one often means wasting the other. As demand for water and energy grows, it harms ecosystems and fuels pollution and climate change. Small everyday choices can help protect these resources for people and the planet. 

Who?  

Everyone! Students, teachers, families, and the whole community can join in. 

How? 

What daily swaps will you make? 

Register your school with this online form by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, 26 February to participate:

 School Registration – GS Daily Swaps Challenge. 

After registration, you will receive a resource pack to help you run the challenge easily.
