CPD Training: Teach Locally, Think Globally

Join the Green-Schools Global Citizenship team for an inspiring CPD training set in the beautiful Kilbrittain NS Woodlands.
This workshop will explore Global Citizenship Education (GCE) through place-based learning, empowering teachers to connect local experiences with global action.
 
Location: Kilbrittain NS Woodlands, Kilbrittain, Co. Cork 
Date & Time: Friday 26th September 2025 9.30am – 2pm
Who’s it for? Primary school teachers passionate about sustainability, global citizenship, and outdoor learning.

 

Through hands-on activities and discussions, we’ll explore how place-based education can support global awareness, critical thinking and action for a better world. Substitution costs of up to €100 is available for the first 10 teachers subscribed, and lunch will be provided.
