Let’s celebrate Water this March
This March is an opportunity to celebrate water through a variety of different activities, events and webinars and also mark two very important days- International Day of Action for Rivers on March 14th and World Water Day on March 22nd! These international days celebrate rivers, lakes and other freshwater resources and raises awareness to advocate for their sustainable management. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis and supporting the achievement of SDG 6: Water and Sanitation for all.
This March, let’s get outdoors, connect with our local rivers and lakes, explore how they support our ecosystems and create spaces for recreation and joy. Register for any of the events below, or celebrate your own way, all while having fun!
