Global Goal 2: Zero Hunger
‘The Lunch Thief’ tells the story of a boy who learns about empathy and the impact of food insecurity on his peers. While ‘Stone Soup’ showcases the power of community and sharing to overcome hunger. Through these stories, children learn about the importance of ensuring everyone has access to sufficient, nutritious food. By discussing these stories and participating in related activities through the resources, your classroom is encouraged to think about ways they can contribute to ending hunger and promoting food security in their communities.
