Marine Week

The highlight of the GC Marine year is Marine Week!

This is a week-long event which invites schools all over the country to learn about and celebrate the ocean and coast. We will have a full schedule of live online events and brand new resources for schools to avail of, and some participants will have the chance to take part in our in-person National Marine Environment Conference – where schools will display their marine projects and learn from each other. Marine Week 2026 will take place from Monday 20th – Friday 24th April, and we encourage everyone to take part!

    Green-Schools Travel new call to action week rolls in on the 19th of October! WOW is a celebration of all sustainable modes of travel to school: Walk or Wheel (cycle, scoot, park n' stride... whatever works best for your family!) and get involved with great activities and competitions.
