Marine Film Club: Saving Atlantis
Following on from the success of its launch, we are delighted to announce the second installment of our Marine Film Club! This exciting event is open to all Secondary Schools working towards the Green Flag Award for Global Citizenship Marine Environment.
From Friday 19th-Thursday 25th March, we will be virtually screening Saving Atlantis, a 2018 documentary that investigates the dramatic decline of global coral reef ecosystems and the impact on human populations that depend on them. Teachers must register their students (max. 30 attendees per school). Registered teachers will be then emailed a viewing link which they can share with their registered students, so that they can watch the documentary individually from home using their own devices between Friday 19th and Thursday 25th March. In addition, Green-Schools will be hosting a live discussion and Q&A with a soon-to-be announced special guest speaker on Friday 26th March at 11am. Students who contribute to the discussion will be in with a chance of winning spot prizes of Just Eat vouchers.
To register your school’s places, please fill in your details by clicking the button below. Spaces are limited, so sign up now to avoid disappointment – registrations will close on Wednesday 17th March.
