Green-Schools across Ireland* are invited to take part in the Green-Schools ‘Ireland 2040 – Our Plan’ Poster Competition which is being run in partnership with the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government.

This competition is a great way for students to engage in Step 6: ‘Informing and Involving’ the whole school in your Green-Schools Programme. All students have to do is create an A3 poster which shows how they would like Ireland to look in the future. For example: should it include parks and open space, good public transport, smart cities, inclusive communities etc?

There are categories for Junior and Senior Primary and Secondary Schools students and prizes include computer tablets for students and cash prizes for winning schools. To download posters and view terms and conditions click on the links below.
