Green-Schools Awards 2021
During an exciting virtual awards ceremony, Green-Schools awarded over 528 schools in Ireland for their success on the Green Flag programme during the 2020-2021 period. The online event was broadcast from an in-house studio, hosted by Green-Schools MCs including a sign language interpreter, and streamed live to 1080 attendees.
Green-Schools wishes to congratulate the 520 schools who achieved the Green Flag in 2021. Schools, together with parents, school support staff and the wider community have been working incredibly hard on the Green-Schools programme over the past two years. Students and Green-Schools Coordinators have been developing innovative ways to keep having Committee meetings, working on their action plans, and sharing all the great ideas to the wider community. We have read your excellent application forms, and have been able to meet with you online to hear all the great work that you have been doing.
Watch the playback video below and see if you can spot your school in the ending credits!
