Green-Schools and Young Reporters for the Environment Litter Less Mini-Campaign
Take action on litter and waste in your school and local community and join thousands of other around the globe in the Litter Less Mini-Campaign this month! From October 18th – 12th November, we invite your school to engage in seven daily actions to help the planet!
There will be video clips to watch, easy investigations and activities – like checking to see how eco-friendly the products in your house are or chatting to a grandparent about the kind of waste we produce now versus when they were young.
You can also enter an international video competition showing us what it’s like to live a zero-waste life for a day! Winners will be published online and receive €100 for their school!
Primary Schools can register here to let us know you’re taking part and then download the “Actions and Help Notes” to get started! Don’t forget to fill out the survey before you get started and to share all your great work with us online by tagging @GreenSchoolsIre and using the hashtag #LitterLessCampaign to be in with a chance to win a spot prize! Find out more information on the Green-Schools website at https://greenschoolsireland.org/litterless/ or email Caoimhe at cobrienmoran@eeu.antaisce.org
Secondary Schools can take part through the Young Reporters for the Environment programme.
