Green-Schools is pleased to invite secondary schools* to take part in the Bike Week Logo Competition. This logo competition is being run in partnership with the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and the Smarter Travel Campus programme. The aim of the competition is for individual students to design a logo which best illustrates the theme: Bike Week – a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling.

Categories

There are two categories:

  • Secondary School (1st – 6th year)
  • Third Level Students

Deadline

The competition will run for the month of March. Friday, March 31 is the the deadline for entries.

Winners & Prizes

There will be one overall winner and one runner up. Winners will be announced in April 2017 with award events taking place towards the end of April 2017. Winners will also be invited to be part of the national launch event for Bike Week which will take place in May/June 2017.

  • First Prize – Apple Macbook Air 128GB and a framed copy of your design. Plus €500 for the winning school (if applicable).
  • Runners Up Prize – Samsung Galaxy Tab A/16 GB and a framed copy of your design.
